General guidelines

Number of subjects 
Max. 3 subjects (incl. tracking) for physical delivery. (Native ads: a maximum of 5 text/image combinations are possible per language region and campaign). If more than 3 subjects are delivered, they must be delivered by 3rd party tag and the advertising media must be exchanged on the customer side. The exchange of physical subjects during an ongoing campaign is only permitted in exceptional cases.

Animations
The length of the animation within an advertising banner is not limited. However, the recommended maximum length is 30 seconds.

Sound
Activation only through user interaction.  

Flash 
Flash les are not permitted.

SSL 
All third party tags, tag-in tags and references in an HTML5 le must be delivered via SSL (https://).

HTML5 

  • The maximum weight (according to specs) refers to all les together in an unzipped state.
  • The target URL and trackings must be stored in the HTML5 banner.
  • The target URL must be opened in a new tab (target='_blank').
  • Ad media tests must be possible locally in the browser.
  • UTF-8 encoding
  • Special characters that are not displayed correctly in the browser with UTF-8 must be encoded manually (e.g. [&]auml; instead of ä). References in the advertising material to external resources (JS libraries, videos, fonts) must all be delivered via SSL (https://).

Skip Button 
To activate the "skip button" for instream videos that use a VAST redirect, the "Skip Off-Set" parameter must be added by the customer in the VAST redirect.

General guidelines

  • A timely campaign start is only guaranteed if the delivery deadlines are met.
  • The advertiser is responsible for the smooth functioning of the advertising media.
  • A campaign can be withheld if it does not meet the specications.
  • Max. 1 count pixel and 1 click command (PreRoll [&] Bumper, Desktop [&] Mobile)
  • Advertising from the erotic sector requires prior clarication and can be rejected by the publisher.
  • Advertising media are tested on the most common devices, screen resolutions and browsers. Certain individual settings or congurations may lead to deviations in the display of the advertising material.

Delivery times
Standard formats: 3 working days before the start of the campaign. Special formats: 5 working days before the start of the campaign.

Brand-Day Display

Brandday involves the simultaneous delivery of various advertising media. You can choose between the individual possible advertising formats (see selection desktop, mobile).

Desktop

  • Dimensions: 994x250 px(wideboard) - Top placement, 300 x 600 px(halfpage) - Right placement, sticky, 960 x 800 px(poster ad) - First placement in the page layout (must be delivered physically, JPG or PNG)
  • Dateigrösse: max. 150 KB for all desktop advertising media.
  • Transparent backgrounds for the above-mentioned standard formats are not possible.

Background

  • Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 px
  • File size: max. 150 KB
  • Format: JPEG only
  • Background coloring on request.

The background image or the coloring of the background serves to support the Brandday in terms of color and/or theme, but not to convey information. Technically, it is not possible to guarantee that all areas of the background are visible. Depending on the browser size/user setup, the background may be cut off. Advertising messages, texts, CTAs etc. should be integrated into the advertising media.

If these background specications are not adhered to, a awless display cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to reject advertising material, even if a background image is individually judged to be irritating, too intense or intrusive.
If a background color is desired, it must be supplied as a hex code. (Example: #CB0D33).

Exclusivity is limited to the specied formats.

Mobile 

Dimensions
3 advertising media to be supplied:
320 x 160 px (or 640 x 320 px)(Mobile Wideboard)**
300 x 250 px (or 600 x 500 px)(Mobile Rectangle)
320 x 416 px (or 640 x 832 px)(Ricchi)

*Only Annabelle: An additional Rectangle or Ricchi advertising medium can be supplied.

**Mobile Wideboard is only displayed on Mobile Web, but not inApp.

File size: max. 100 KB for all mobile advertising media.

Brand-Day Video

Brandday Video is the simultaneous delivery of various advertising media, as a xed placement for one day on the front, 24 hours.

Desktop is used the Video Wall in combination with the PosterAd.

Mobile is the Videohead combined with the Ricchi.

Branding Wall 

The Video Wall is an advertising medium that is played above and around the content. The video is placed centrally above the content.

If this is to be measured with the own ad server, please deliver VAST 2.0 TAG's.

The videos must nevertheless be delivered physically as MP4 le. Additionally, a click command for the background is required.

*Background - Defaults
Place the most important information such as logos, call-to-action buttons and other visuals in the upper area, to the left and right of the video. See the layout image under 'Gallery Showcase'.
Basically, the background image or the coloring of the background serves to support the VideoWall thematically, but not to transport information. It is technically not feasible to keep the background always visible. Depending on the browser and screen size, elements may be cut off and a perfect display is not guaranteed.

Production costs are included.
