Native Ad

General guidelines

Number of subjects 
Max. 3 subjects (incl. tracking) for physical delivery. (Native ads: a maximum of 5 text/image combinations are possible per language region and campaign). If more than 3 subjects are delivered, they must be delivered by 3rd party tag and the advertising media must be exchanged on the customer side. The exchange of physical subjects during an ongoing campaign is only permitted in exceptional cases.

Animations
The length of the animation within an advertising banner is not limited. However, the recommended maximum length is 30 seconds.

Sound
Activation only through user interaction.  

Flash 
Flash les are not permitted.

SSL 
All third party tags, tag-in tags and references in an HTML5 le must be delivered via SSL (https://).

HTML5 

  • The maximum weight (according to specs) refers to all les together in an unzipped state.
  • The target URL and trackings must be stored in the HTML5 banner.
  • The target URL must be opened in a new tab (target='_blank').
  • Ad media tests must be possible locally in the browser.
  • UTF-8 encoding
  • Special characters that are not displayed correctly in the browser with UTF-8 must be encoded manually (e.g. [&]auml; instead of ä). References in the advertising material to external resources (JS libraries, videos, fonts) must all be delivered via SSL (https://).

Skip Button 
To activate the "skip button" for instream videos that use a VAST redirect, the "Skip Off-Set" parameter must be added by the customer in the VAST redirect.

General guidelines

  • A timely campaign start is only guaranteed if the delivery deadlines are met.
  • The advertiser is responsible for the smooth functioning of the advertising media.
  • A campaign can be withheld if it does not meet the specications.
  • Max. 1 count pixel and 1 click command (PreRoll [&] Bumper, Desktop [&] Mobile)
  • Advertising from the erotic sector requires prior clarication and can be rejected by the publisher.
  • Advertising media are tested on the most common devices, screen resolutions and browsers. Certain individual settings or congurations may lead to deviations in the display of the advertising material.

Delivery times
Standard formats: 3 working days before the start of the campaign. Special formats: 5 working days before the start of the campaign.

Native Ad Goldbach Network

  • Image: Image ratio always 1.91:1. Min.: 300x157px to max.: 1200x627px, max. 150 KB, JPEG or PNG
  • Within the image no text or logos, no animations, no capitals.
  • With certain formats and character lengths, it may happen in rare cases that images are centered and slightly cut off. This affects the height of the image on smaller devices.
  • Title: max. 50 characters (incl. spaces)
  • text: max. 150 characters (incl. spaces)
  • Only capitals (upper case letters) are not allowed.
  • Line breaks are also not allowed.
  • Call to Action: max. 15 characters (incl. spaces)
  • Logo (optional): Small icon in square format (ratio 1:1, 30x30px).
  • For certain formats, the logo is not displayed due to space limitations
  • Advertiser Name (optional): Text for company name, brand or URL, max. 25 characters (incl. spaces).
  • In certain formats, the advertiser name is not displayed due to space limitations.

Important notes
A maximum of 5 text-image combinations are possible per language and campaign.
Goldbach reserves the right to terminate the campaign prematurely if the click rate is 0.07% or lower.

Video Native Ad

  • Video: Landscape 1.91:1, max. 100MB for physical delivery, max. 8 MB for VAST, max. 30 seconds in length, volume: EBU R128: - 23 LUFs Fallback image: Image ratio always 1.91:1. min.: 300x157px to max.: 1200x627px, max. 150 KB, JPEG or PNG
  • File formats: VAST redirect or physical delivery .MP4 .AVI .WebM .MPeg . WMV
  • After the video is played for the rst time, a still image is set using the fallback image incl. replay button.
  • With certain formats and character lengths, it can happen in rare cases that videos are centered and slightly cut off. This affects the height of the image on smaller devices.
  • Titlemax. 50 characters (incl. spaces)
  • Text: max. 150 characters (incl. spaces)
