Der Landbote, established in 1836, is the daily newspaper for the city of Winterthur and its surroundings. From Monday to Saturday, Der Landbote provides comprehensive coverage of Winterthur as well as national, international, business and sports news, in the form of a print paper, an online news platform, an e-paper, and it is also available on the road with an app. The editorial offices in Winterthur are focusing on the views of the people in the sixth largest city of Switzerland. Together with the Zürcher Oberländer, the Zürcher Unterländer and the Zürichsee-Zeitung, Der Landbote forms the Zeitungsverbund Zürcher Regionalzeitungen (Regional Newspaper Group of the Zurich Area).
